ABOUT ME

YUICHIRO TAKEUCHI

I am a Toronto-born computer scientist currently based in Kyoto. I am the founder of Sento, an urban technology startup building the digital infrastructure for tomorrow's cities. I also direct the Wikitopia Project, a cross-organizational research project that aims to realize a new form of citizen-led, technologically-enhanced urbanism. I hold a PhD in Informatics from the University of Tokyo, and an MDes from Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
